The wait is over!! We have a date and time scheduled for our Diocesan First Annual Chili Cook-Off competition!! Please find attached two important documents.
- Registration Form – If your council plans on entering more than one team, each team must provide their own canopy and cooking equipment. It will not be allowed to enter more than one entry from each station set up. Each team must provide their own items specified in the registration document. Please submit one registration form per team if your council is entering more than one team. You can send one check to cover all teams.
- Chili Cook-Off Flyer – Please print and distribute as many as you can. The more folks your council invites out to the event, the better the chance at winning the Taster’s Choice Award.
I will be putting out more info as we get closer to the event. Let’s enjoy this event and have some fun at the same time!!!
All funds collected will be distributed evenly amongst all councils participating and go toward your State Charity Goal.

We are only 20ish days away from our very First Annual Austin Diocese Chili Cook-Off Event!! So far we have only one entry, which is our host Council 10131. Attached is the flyer for the event for publication and the registration form that needs to be filled out and submitted soon. Here are the rules of the game.
Entry Fee of $20.00 Per Team Cash or Check. Council may enter more than one team, but each additional team must provide a separate canopy and supplies.
Council must supply Canopy, Propane Burner, Propane Tank, Cooking Supplies, and at least a 30 Gallon Trash Can with Bags.
Each team will submit one Quart of scratch made Chili for judging.
Each team will provide at least 4 Gallons of Chili for public tasting.
Councils may provide Crackers, Cheese, Onions, etc. for public tasting.
Checks should be made payable to Greater Austin Chapter Knights of Columbus

There will be two awards presented, the Judges award will be the one to move yearly from winning council to winning council. The Taster’s Choice award would be kept by the winning council.
